Sometime, you might know exactly which skills you want to add to your profile. In the app, you can easily search for and enter the skills you want to.
There are 2 ways to find and add specific skills to your profile:
Method 1: Using the "Search Skills" search bar in the experience overview screen
- Make sure that you're in the experience overview screen by clicking on an item on your CV such as a job or education experience.
- Scroll down to the search bar that read "Search skills" and search for the skill(s) that you would like to add to your profile
- Select the skill(s) you would like to add by tapping the plus (+) symbols next to the relevant skill. Once selected, click "Add" to add the skill(s) to your profile.
- Indicate how often you used the skill(s) during that experience
Here's how it's done:
Method 2: Using the search icon ( ) while you're browsing skill recommendations
- Click "Add Skills" under an experience item to browse skill recommendations
- Click on the on the Search (
) icon on the bottom left of the screen
- Search for skill(s) that you would like to add to your profile
- Select the skill(s) you would like to add by tapping the plus (+) symbols next to the relevant skill. Once selected, click "Add" to add the skill(s) to your profile.
- Indicate how often you used the skill(s) during that experience
