As an administrator, you will first invite users to download the SkillLab mobile application and create a skill profile. Once users register on the application, you can track and monitor their progress and review their Skill Profiles.
There are two ways to invite users to download SkillLab:
1. Send an invitation to the users' email.
2. Share a personalised link or web address (URL) from which they can access the application.
The steps below will show you how to invite users using both ways.
Inviting Users with Invitation Email
This is the best way to invite users when you have many users to invite.
1. Click the Invite new user button above the filter bar on your administration portal dashboard.
2. Choose Invite multiple users by email from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter the user's email and first and last name.
If you want to invite more than one user, you can click Add more and repeat the previous action.
4. When you have entered all users' emails and names, click Personalize message.
5. Alternatively, when you already have a list of your users' email and names on an excel sheet, you can click Add multiple users at once and upload your excel document to the designated space.
After that, click Next.
6. You will see a template of an invitation email. You can edit the words here if you want to write your own invitation email. Otherwise, you can also use the template from SkillLab.
When you are done, click Send invite.
Inviting Users with a Link / URL
The second way to invite users is better used when you do not have many users to invite. Follow these steps to get the personalised link to invite your users.
1. Click the Invite new user button above the filter bar on your administration portal dashboard.
2. Choose Get personalized invitation link from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter the user's first and last name, then click Get link.
4. You will be provided with an invite link and an access code that you can share with the user. Click Copy and paste to any platform you use to communicate with your user (not limited to email).
